About Your Instructor
Meg Sutton is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher and has been teaching yoga in the Bellingham community for over 15 years. She divides her time between the yoga studio and a local physical therapy clinic, where she works as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Meg has an extensive background in movement art and therapy. Her love for dance brought her to the Northwest where she studied at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. This is also where she was first introduced to yoga. She immediately fell in love with the poetry of yoga - a quiet practice with ample room for physical and spiritual exploration. Meg is also a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). She uses tools from her experience as a PTA to further guide students with injuries, chronic pain and other illnesses.
Meg enjoys the creative application of yoga and her physical therapy skills/knowledge to create dynamic, wholesome experiences for her students to thrive. The principles and practice of yoga allow us to elevate our everyday life regardless of injury, chronic pain and other challenging
